End quote Short answer anytime you do anything that is outside of the end user license agreement that the company has not signed off on or agreed to is copyright infringement. It doesn't matter if you gave it away for free or not to some companies. If they say no copying sounds and redistributing them for free or commercial use that is what they mean. I know. It sucks eggs. However, welcome to the world of courts and lawyers.
