They're coming out with a new version 8 any time now which will be a free upgrade for people with an SMA. That update will do a lot for people using Vista and those using earlier versions of Windows. I think people who don't have the SMA would have to pay for the upgrade. You should keep an eye on the Freedom Scientific site at:
