Indeed, and a good friend of mine recently got a nasty shark related surprise wen it happened, which was amusing.
I think for very complex games like Technoshock or Sarah a few sounds like the sounds for targiting enemies and a few basic sounds of their attacks can be useful, but I'd regard these cases as the exception rather than the rule, and certainly for a game like Treasuremania it isn't necessary imho. And even for something like technoshock, or Sarah I'd only want a few sounds in the menue. Beware the Grue! Dark. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Robjoy" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Sunday, April 08, 2007 12:39 PM Subject: Re: [Audyssey] treasure mania 1 > Well, it is possible to record reviews, so they're like screen shots, but > with sounds. > A trailer is a bit different, as it is supposed to show the features of > the game, or to give a demonstration how the game will look like when > it'll be released. > In this game, a learn game sound feature could spoil important things, for > example if you play the game at first, you won't know that the shark can > catch your > net. > > Rob > > ----- Original Message ----- > Subject: Re: [Audyssey] treasure mania 1 > Date: Sun, 8 Apr 2007 06:20:59 -0500 > From: "Liam Erven" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > > no.
