I should mention now that if you don't have dotnet 1.1, 2.0 or 3.0 you can do a windows update or if you use auto update you will get them to. You may have to restart 3 or 4 times when you get dotnet. if manual, you need to do 1 windows update to get everything, the next is service packs and the next is all the little things.
