Hi Nicol, In an orchestra there are times when not all the instruments are playing at the same time. The description of the sound of the ghost orchestra is in the second Harry Potter book and I tried to recreate it. I got a recording of a musical saw which is really a musical instrument and mixed it over and over again. I guess you are hearing about 32 saws but some of them are really quiet. Phil
