It's all well and good that everyone agrees that DirectX is faster and
loads better, but it's written in flash and porting the program to
directX is not going to be something they can just snap their fingers
and do overnight. It doesn't hurt any of us that the flash games take
some time to load. Does it mean that open source would be kind of
useless for us? Yes. But considering how many of us are actually
developers as opposed to the backseat drivers such as myself, I'm
thinking that Open source is the least of our worries.

I personally have a great respect for AGM and have come up with some
pretty clever, if I do say so myself, work-arounds for people's
problems.

I can't do tutorials like Che can...I'm just not good enough at
anticipating questions. But one thing I can do is answer directed
questions to me. I will accept them at [EMAIL PROTECTED], but
as I also have a family, I may not get back to you right away.

I hope that between the developers and the users who get this program,
we can work something out whereby many can use it and none need be
left behind.

By the way,
I'm abandoned the hunting game. I'm now working on concept for a space
shooter game like nothing you've seen before.
