People aren't ticked that he ripped off Diku. 
Everyone does. They're ticked that he took a free 
codebase, pretty much tossed any 
licensing/credit/whatever having to do with that 
codebase out the window, and started charging 
people for it. And he's not released that code to 
the community, which is entirely another thing 
the Diku license he threw out was intending to 
promote. Perhaps if he had, there might not be 
quite so many ridiculously stock MUDs out there.
