slightly away from this but still semi current is the sad news that except for the nx001 series which is done in the us and which we hav not seen yet in nz, and except for stargate atlantis, it appears all scifi tv has died. While a few things like stargate and drwho still semi go, trek stuff has stopped being produced as far as I can see. I was around when you had to choose what was the best channel to be in. Now all you get is stupid reality tv. Just thought I'd mention this sad fact. And while there is a load of fan dramas there does not seem to be much demand for the classic scifi shows anymore.
