Hi John, I forgot to answer your question about the number of blind Linux users wanting games, but I think I can give you some ball park figures, and where to check. In my experience most blind Linux users fall in the professional catigory like network admins, programmers, etc... The second group is the geek group that use Linux just to snub Windows, or have something personal against Windows. At any rate i think there is about 100 active users of Linux over on the Orca mailing list, possably more, and there is quite a few on the Emacspeak and Speakup lists as well. I've never done the research myself so I don't have a clear idea how many are simply over laps with each list, and how large the Linux comunity amung blind user's really is. However, one place you can ask about your accessible games is the gnome-accessibility list found at http://www.gnome.org and the Orca mailing list also found at http://www.gnome.org and finally the Linux Speakup list found at http://www.Linux-Speakup.org Hth.
