Hi Trouble,

I do disagree with you about me needing to move up with the latest and greatest
or quit. As I said dos programs and windows 3.1 programs still run in windows
xp. My VB6 programs run in windows Vista and I will wager that they will also
run in the next version of windows as well.

BTW As long as I am able, I will never quit programming games. It is one of my
most favorite things to do.

The only thing i got to say about this is, Your right not everything
has to be the latest and greatest. however, with the blind getting
computers from orgs and other places. The op on that system is going
to be the latest and greatest. Why< because that is what is new and
that is what they get.
So if you want your games to play on those computers. you better move
up with the latest and greatest or quit. Dos is out and was in 96
when win95 made it the standard for computers. Some of those old ops
had real power and very stable. But now we have to be real and use
the tools and ops of now not yester year. its not a scare its really progress.

Some people are so busy up grading everything that they never get anything else
done.
