Hi Bryan,
Oh, yeah... RPG games can be the toughest games to write, not because 
the are hard to program, but there is so much stuff to program into that 
game. A game like

Baldur's  Gate would take ages to complete under the best of circumstances.
Not long ago I looked into the idea of writing a clone of Legend of Zelda Even 
though I had played that game as a kid allot I grabbed the walkthrough off the 
net to review it, and after reading it I said no way. It wouldn't have been 
complicated to program easy in fact, but the game is so huge it would take a 
very long time to complete.
