Hi Jim, Yes, the size issue is an issue for any game developer. I have about a gig of space and a couple of gigs of bandwidth, and that is one of the reasons I have decided to cut down the size of STFC 2.0 and Montezuma's Revenge. Both games started out as 30 MB monsters, but now I am going to shrink them to 20 MB or less. One of the ways I did this was by adding Sapi and pulling out all of the prerecorded speech files. The second is rather than going 44100 all the way I am converting the effects to 22500 so that it has a smaller footprint, saves space, and actually my load times have improved as well. As far as pleasing everyone. You are right there. We can't please everyone, but we can please ourselves and those around us who enjoy the games as they are.
