Hi tom. I certainly approve of the downward slashing with swords, ------ especially as I tend to reserve them for spiders, and thus usually have one or two I don't use if I run into less spiders than I have swords. imho this will make the game a good deal less frustrating, though keep in the challenge factor very well.
