Hi tom.

there's been a lot of hagling about the Monti difficulty recently (partly I
admit, by myself), and having now tried Beta 4, I have to say it feels just
right!

there are no inconsistant deaths, ---- imho the death from landing thing was
slightly random, but the increased damage from all the enemies mean that you
have to work that much harder at not getting hit, ----- even on normal
difficulty. there was also more insentive to use the swords, sinse being hit
was so much more of a problem, and now even snakes can force you into using
your swords. Landing on them also stil bears more threat, because of the
poisoned bite and drraining health, ----- which also forces you to use a
healing potion which you might have rather kept for later on.

all in all, a very nice, well rounded job I'd say, and I can't wait for the
full release.

Speaking of the full release though, it's very likely I'll be at home with my
parents over christmas rather than here at my flat in Durham. I'll stil be
around thanks to my laptop, but I'd much rather have a copy of Monti for my
desktop here in Durham which I use far more often.

appologies if you haven't even got onto this subject yet, ----- but what's
happening about registration keys?

If I do have to wait until I get back to my desktop after christmas in order to
play Monti, ----- well fair enough.

All the best,

Dark.
