Hiya Thomas and all. Sorry for the late reply on this one have been out of town at a convention. Thomas do you know how the original game worked, manual swords or automatic when you got close to the monster? I was never able to play the original Monty that well so I don't recall. That is one reason this Monty is so exciting for me. At the risk of being somewhat of a purist I'd argue for keeping it like the original unless this truly complicates the game from a programming, not from a playing standpoint. If you don't remember how it worked I can probably blow at least most of the dust out of one of my old Atari's and try to fire it up and see if my wife wants to try a game or two of the old Monty so we can find out. Just let me know.

I've had to make lots of game code exceptions for the swords and if I take the automatic use out of the loop allot of things would work better in the game.
