Hi John, I don't know a developer on this list that isn't programming games for fun. I'm in it myself for the chanse to write the games not for the cash I bring in. Not to say that some cash for my efforts isn't welcome. I can always use a few more dollar bills in my pocket. <Smile> Yes, you are right that even the mainstream game companies lose money on games at some point or another. For example,in 2003 when Angel of Darkness came out Edos states it was a flop. I personally liked the game just like I liked all the Tomb Raider games, but apparently the general public didn't agree, and they lost money instead of gaining allot off of that production. Anyway, I think since this community is so small the lazy thinkers, entitlement croud, etc tend to stand out more than they do in the mainstream. We are a small and closed society at times, and the more vocal members tend to get heard allot more weather or not they speak for a majority.
