Long ago I told phil that I don't like a character screaming, like the man
in shades of doom.
I asked phil if sarah also screams in the game, phil then said that sarah
does scream but not of pain, but of horror.
Now today I have become used to the screaming in games, I just want to
discuss the topic of pain versus horror.
In sod when the character gets attacked, what he feels/experiences is pain.
When sarah is attacked by any creature she does not experience pain but
horror.
So when sarah looses all her magical energy it then means that the castle
has become a horrible place, she can't stand it any longer.
The more magical energy sarah looses, the more horror she experiences.
The more health sod's character looses, the more pain he experiences.
So the scar on harry's forehead wasn't real physical pain, its horror.
It was just a mark on his forehead that made him experience horror.
Well the book repeatedly says how harry's scar burns and prickles, but if
phil says that sarah doesn't scream of pain but of horror, it then means
that harry also never didn't experience pain, only horror.
So when the troll or dragon attacks sarah, she also experiences horror, not
pain, right? When panama joe gets bitten by a snake or spider, he
experiences pain, but anything in the sarah game that attacks sarah, it
doesn't cause pain but horror, right?
