Hi all, A bit of an OT question, but I think an important one for us gamers, as it is what I'm having trouble with. When I'm running a text game from the command line, I route the JAWS and PC cursors to read the game. I know JAWS can read by itself sometimes, but I don't like that because it starts from the top of the screen. JAWS with some games though doesn't want to read the text in the dos window, sort of rather reading other windows such as the desktop, or the jaws window getting in the way, or the taskbar, even when the dos window is maximised. I'd like to play my dos text adventures with a propper dos screenreader, in a propper dos environment, not sort of using JAWS with this command line in the run dialogue box, and JAWS always reading right from the top and not reading some stuff properly, and in some games not at all because windows stuff gets in the way. If I have Windows XP on the PC, is there anyway I can get the dos environment, I remember that earlier windows had the option to restart in ms dos, I know XP doesn't have that option, but is there a way to do it, I mean, could it be a hidden option or something? Ari
