Hi Ron,
one thing to try is save the word document as a text file, and then from 
your mail client select insert file. that usually, will produce the text 
without formatting errors. I've noticed a number of times when 
programming or whatever copying and pasting text can sometimes botch 
formatting. Especially, if word is one of the programs being used. For 
example a single quote might get converted to a double quote which is 
not something always desired.
