On this, I must respectfully disagree. Anyone who knows me will tell you
that for the most part I am a home body, but I can tell you, ther are
plenty of things which interest me out there and they are not computer
related. I have well over 1500 DVD movies in my collection, well over
5000 CDs in my music collection. Sure, you can't interact with music and
movies, but you can enjoy them. I have a lot of single-player puzzles,
games, brain teasers, ETC which I use when I'm alone and want to
exercize my brain a little. There is a national chain called I'ts Your
Move and they sell all types of games from board games to brain teasers
to card games. There are plenty of thingg there which a blind person can
play with and none of them require a computer. Trust me, computers are
not all there is for blind people even if they don't go outside much.
Trust me, many companies have made a lot of money from me and it's not
all computer related. let's see, how much did my surround sound home
theater system cost me with Infinity speakers? I don't even want to go
there ,smile>.
