Hi Yohandy,
The DirectX and .Net Framework upgrades are not in the Windows Vista 
update service yet. As for the DirectX upgrades you need to download the 
DirectX upgrade on my site
http://www.usagames.us/requirements.php
as it is the most current DirectX for XP and Vista that supports .Net 
games. There is no advantage to using a DirectX later than August 2007, 
because Managed DirectX has now been depricated and pulled from newer 
DirectX development kits, but I think the Novemember runtime still has 
the managed libraries for backwards compatibility purposes. At least 
until XNA is more widely adopted by developers.
As for .Net Framework version 3.5 is out for XP and Vista, but as yet 
Monte has not been tested with .Net 3.5.Though, before final release it 
is possible I will compile Monte against the 3.5 libs.Not sure yet though.
