Hello Leonard, Is there some specific reason for using the DirectX 8.1 SDK? The DirectX 8.2 SDK was the final version of DirectX 8 and can be downloaded from the Microsoft web site last I checked. In addition, many of the older DirectX 9 SDK's included the full DirectX 8.2 SDK as well so I hope this helps.
