Hi Corry, All I can say is the term best is a subjective word. My idea of best is probably different from you, and your term for best might be different from someone else. As I have seen on the list so far there are some completely different views on Eloquence. Some people hate it, and others think it is the greatest synth on Earth. I fall somewhere in the middle. I don't mind using it, but I like something more human sounding when playing games. I know Eloquence does have some good features such as pretty accurate speech synthesis, excellent foreign language support, is clear when used at a high rate of speed, and that is what has made it popular. However, it fails to sound good in a game where you are looking for more human sounding characters.
