Yeah, if you're not careful that maze can be tricky. But once you get it figured out it's actually quite easy. A word of warning though about the Demonscourge though. First, if you don't have the skill of Weaponry Bashing, you'r MR may actually decrease somewhat when you equip the hammer, even despite the 22-boost. Second, you actually won't get the weapon until the final scenario. Of course after part 3 there's just one adventure left before the finale.
