Sense you do that a little tool might help you a lot in time and effort. a removable drive bay. You can put your main drive in it and put what ever you want on it. When you want to test. Just pull it out and put in another drive with the op and off testing. that way your drive with personal stuff stays good and your test drive crash as much as needed without you losing a thing.
