Hi Mich, As I have said before at some point on this list one issue is still the copyright issues. I want more than anyone to produce an excelent FPS Star Wars title equal to Jedi Knight, but I have to be very very careful how it is done. Lucasfilm and Lucas Arts are extremely protective of the Indiana Jones and Star Wars copyrights and not just anyone can get permission to write a Star Wars game. I have already persued the matter legally, and they have already all but told me know on account of how they license their trade marks. So I basicly have to do it without their permission which means the game will have to be written on some free or open source type license that puts the work in the general or public domain with the music and sounds under a more restricted license. Going open source with it might help the new developers, but on the other hand if I wanted to use Genesis 3D to create the game, an engine suited to the task, I would basicly be exposing the inner workings of my own personal engine to the world for hacking, cracking, and for theft.
