Hey Tyler.

Thanks for your thoughts and tips on the psp, keep em coming. Oh yeah
you can tell just from looking at the system that it is not something
you want to be banging around even though it actually looks well
constructed. It is not flimsy or anything.

Oh no worries I am not one of these people who beats heck out of their
portable devices if anything I tend to baby them more than I absolutely
need to. My psp is absolutely in its case the minute I am not using it
and that is where it stays until I take it out again. From what I've
read there's not much you can do about the fingerprints and such other
than to not touch the screen which I am careful not to do, and to just
keep some of those glasses cleaning cloths around and give your psp a
wipe down every so often.

Just to clarify, what I meant by the menus not being accessible is that
you will have to do some memorizing, in order to use the other functions
like music and movies, however the structure really does not look all
that complicated and I am used to doing that sort of thing from using
largely inaccessible ham radio gear. Like you I do have other means of
playing music so the psp will not be used really heavily for this,
however the movies thing looks pretty cool if I can get it working. Yes
I read something about the buttons on the slim model being much more
reliable I think it was on gamefaqs.

Have a good day.

Tom

Hi there

I just found out there is a slim model out which does have that
thumb-into-the door design. This isn't a problem however, and you got
the
daxter pack btw. That's a good one, and yeah I agree- there's also a
star
wars one, which comes with a 32 mb memory stick which is good for saving

games. Oh yeah. The psp is very prone to smudges and such, and be very
careful (treat it as you would an ipod or something). This is not a toy.
It
is very fragile, the UMD drive being the most notable fragile thing.
However
the screen is very prone to losing pixils since its in LCD display, so
be
very careful with that (good job on the screen protector). I disagree
there,
actually, about the menu structure; think of it like thi.s Say you have
the
system settings on the leftmost side, you go right one and you have your

music, right one more and you can browse the web or some such (this
isn't
from memory, its just an example). Also I think you got the better
deal-
this is a slimmer psp and the buttons, apparently, have been aproved on.

Hope this helps

Have a good day from Tyler C. Wood!
