Hello Tom when you get the titorial to your liking I would like a copy of it
as well. As a matter of fact I asked my nephew if I can borrow one of his
friend's psp's so I can try this out myself since I like MLB baseball 2008
the Show, NCAA football, Madin NFL, and Hockey as well. I even want to try
soccer as well. So I can't wait to try it.

Sincerely,

Jason

Subject: [Audyssey] Psp project in the works.

> Hello fellow gamers.
>
> I am just writing to let you guys/gals know about a project I am working
> on. Basically what I am doing is to write up a detailed description of
> at least some of the screens and menus that you run into when using the
> psp and playing Tekken to make the unit more useable for a blind gamer.
> What I have done so far is a description of what Sony calls the home
> menu, the menu that comes up when you either turn the psp on with no
> game inserted or you exit a game via the home key. This is the menu you
> need to access to play music or movies and whatnot on your psp. Also, I
> have done a fairly detailed description on the mode selecter menu in
> Tekken which is basically the menu you get to if you start the game and
> hit the start button where you decide what kind of game you want to play
> and make various other changes and pretty much everything else. I am
> fairly sure I am going to have to add quite a bit to this one before you
> will be able to really use a lot of it by yourself, mainly descriptions
> of what to do in some of the submenus. Keep in mind that even when I am
> done with this, there are parts that are going to either be really hard
> or require sighted assistance such as doing your initial profile which
> you have to do the first time you start the game. Lastly, I have
> described how to get into the tutorial which shows you how to do basic
> moves and attacks and so on. The tutorial is actually pretty useful if
> you know what order the different moves and stuff are presented.
> This project is just starting and I am not going to give what I have out
> right now until I get it in a form that I am happier with and until I
> make sure that the stuff that I say can be done can really be done
> without sight. The reason that I chose to work on the screens and menus
> for Tekken is quite simply that this is the game that I am most
> interested in learning myself. Since I am writing the stuff up for
> myself I am hoping it may eventually be good enough to help some other
> folks out who may either have a psp already or are considering getting
> one. As I said this project is in its infancy right now and it will be
> a work in progress, I will most likely add more games to it as I get
> them and learn them.
> I'd like to say here that this project would not be possible if it were
> not for my wife Mary Beth who is providing indespensible help with
> reading the various screens and in general figuring things out for me so
> I can note them down. I think she's hooked on the psp already lol.
> Anyhow, I will keep you guys posted on major work that is done on the
> project and I will let you know when I think it is good enough to give
> out to those who might want it.
