It's really not that hard to do if you use your EXP and Adventurer Tokens well. You can even do it without donating. All but my latest character has an MR in the 120s. It comes from getting Weaponry and SLashing up to sevety (much easier to do than getting powers that high), Tallys' best shield and a careful combination of other items. It's really quite doable. Oh and then there are Solundor's Phantom items as well.
