Hi, Here a few things that will help: 1. Boost your general weaponry, and the specific weaponry subskill that your weapon requires. For example, I have 70+ in both Weaponry and Weaponry slashing so I get a +14 to my Melee rating whenever I use a slashing weapon. 2. Get a weapon with a MR over 20. 3. Get the best shield you can. 4. Several other types of armor, Mostly neck, tings, and tabbards, will give you MR boosts.
