Why take down GWSE, and have the same host try to make an equivalent. From
what I heard GWSE was a really good game, it should be put back up.

No. Slipgate was Josh's attempt at recreating a better GWSE. He was one of
maybe 2 or 3 former Squidsoft hosts on that project. The Miriani answer to
GWSE I believe is called Stellarum or something, and is still in
development. As in not open for connections last time I checked.
