hey dark,
you are correct. the only reagents which are hard to come by are astrals.
those are used for more complex spells, not your every day ones. now,
resurrecting costs an astral as do a couple others but the main use for them
is to resurrect someone. some mobs have astrals which randomly repop on
them. when you are an archon, you get them more frequently from killing
hunters. heh, archons need to stock them so they can help fellow archons who
die from a hunter. lol

admittedly playing a paladin I don't need many reagents, but it does seem
that a lot of the common ones such as elemental reagents, --- earth,
water, air and fire, may either just be picked up or randomly bought, it's
only the specific ones like Astrel which i believe are hard to come by.
As I said, I've only just started in the game, and being a paladin I just
have one spell which requires reagents, but this is the way it seems from
reading help sections etc.
