i wonder if the cobra screen reader might be of help in this sort of
situation where the text is drawn graphically.
as I understand it cobra does have a feature where it can try to OCR the
screen of graphical applications and convert it into text.
once it is converted you can apparently click on things within that text to
perform commands.
Of course I haven't even sceen cobra yet, but this is as I understand it
from discussion on another list I am on.
