hi just saw this original post, i had no trouble getting mine set up, so
don't let that detract from getting one of these excellent controllers, just
takes a bit of fiddling to get it set up.
as for rail racer, i use a steering wheel for mine, so don't have a set up
for a joystick, but you might check on rail racer list for that.
