This message goes along with the last message I sent answering the question
of where to find the connection to Simutronics Gemstone IV from within ZMud.
Unfortunately, as I was sending this last bit of info to the list, my
computer rebooted, so I don't think it went through. Also, I forgot to trim
the message size down, but there you go. Here is what I meant to post.
I should say also that you need to have an account with play.net before you
even attempt to connect to the mud with ZMud. The reason for this is
because you are first directed to the simutronics login server which asks
for your username and password. Note, this is not the same as your mud
character name! So you should go to play.net and create an account first.
You get a 30 day trial when you sign up, and you can cancel on the site at
any time before then.
Last note, I don't think you can just create a regular play.net account from
within ZMud. I just signed up with the simutronics site and then connected
with ZMud, so I could be mistaken.
