When you say that the transitions aren't very good, what exactly do you
mean? What happens with the voice? And do you notice any improvements
between 1.0 and 1.0.1?

particularly pleasant, and I can notice a performance hit when a
background task suddenly demands some juice out of the poor thing.
1.0.1 seemed a long way from unplayable if a tad jurky, though I've
got no idea how it'd fair once you get to something like the death
world.
