I tried initially to not use any other weapon but the club, ---- but just
couldn't get through the cave world, ---- mostly because of those blasted
bears!
I do sometimes wish it was possible to more easily avoid attacks, but as
it is, the only way seems to be kill youit before it hits you.
I've tried swing and run, ---- but this only works with bears because they
move slowly, ---- and only if you have a free area to deal with the bear
in.
Other enemy's seem too fast to run away from successively, ----- though
jumping out of trouble when cornered on both sides can be helpful
sometimes, ---- even if it only reduces the amount of damage you take, not
avoids it entirely.
Beware the grue!

I've tried. Unfortunately there is no way to hit a bear without him
hitting
you. You have to use a shield or sling shot in order to beat him without
getting hit.
