Hi Brian, I feel that I cansafely say that as a person who has yet to beat the game 5 times running isn't too bad. What I usually do is start swinging my club before I hear the animals/demons coning, and if possible, I jump backwards in the death world. Best Regards, Hayden

As for your question though, you may well have to start over since you should save as many shields as possible for the death world, particularly levels two and three. My advice is don't hurry. Since monsters seem to be triggered at certain spots if you try to run you'll have more monsters after you than if you move more slowly.
