Hi, Yes, all of the dungeons are randomized. In answer to your question you figure it out by playing it. Use the wind sounds to figure out weather to go north, south, east, or west. Use your slash key to figure out where the nearest unexplored space is etc. Playing Entombed isn't rocket science, and you don't need a walkthrough to figure the dungeons out if you use sound clues like doors and wind sounds plus the handy-dandy slash key to find out some square you missed.
