Hi everyone,

May I remind all of you, including Shaun, that off topic messages are
not allowed on list unless specifically authorized by a list
moderator. If you know enough to use the words off topic or abreviate
it with ot that means that the content is more than likely not
appropriate for this list. If you aren't sure if your message will be
off topic or you think the list needs to hear about a certain
topic/subject inquaries should be directed to the moderators at
gamers-ow...@audyssey.org
and Raul, Kevin, or I will respond with our decision regarding that
topic/subject.

We fully realise that some subjects are in effect a gray area. For
example, programming games. Although our focus is not about
programming games those topics are usually allowed provided it is
specific to programming games and not just general programming. I'm
usually the one who decides those cases since I'm the resident
programmer on the moderating staff and can decide if a question is too
generic, or is in some way applies to game programming. That's just
one example of one of the gray areas we often let pass even though we
all agree that there are better resources like the blind programming
list etc for programming questions.

Thanks.
