Hi Alex.

the bad news is no, there isn't a way to sidestep which I agree is a problem, however I personally found the best way to compensate for this was to use the find object menue, sinse the coordinates in each room of the game are very precise.

Thus, if your at 10/15, and need to get to 12/18, instead of weaving around in a diagonal it's easier just to walk north to row 18, then turn east and go towards row twelve.

your also helped by the fact that terraformers doesn't have as small a turning circle as other games, in fact I think pressing left or right arrow turns you about 22 degrese per go.

Beware the Grue!

Dark.

Subject: [Audyssey] question about navigating in terraformers

Hi list.
I am just wondering, does anyone know if there is a way to side step in terraformers? As I checked the documentation but couldn't see anything about if this is possible. I find it quite hard to navigate around with turning etc, and finding doors and other objects isn't easy if there is no way to side step, I think I will give up with this game, as you seem to spend half your time trying to line yourself up with objects and spinning around trying to find where they are.
