hi Milo.
To build up food for the ship, you need to have enough farms and hun ters to
make sure your accumulating more food than your actually eating.
Even a large amount of food can be eaten pretty quickly by many people if
your not producing a surpluss.
Try closing the ship and Looking at your food over time and seeing if the
amount is going up or down. if it is going up, then you've got surpluss food
that can be loaded onto the ship.
if going down then yu have a serious problem and your people will eventually
starve, so you need to increase the amount of food your producing.
Also, make certain you've got plenty of peasants and a cook, sinse otherwise
people will starve.
As peasants transport barrels and grind flour, once you start food and wine
making, you'll need to make certain you've got enough peasants to handle the
extra work.
I'd also recommend sacking your bartender and not letting your people drink
wine until the ship is loaded, sinse I found unless I did that, people drank
more wine than I could produce, though certainly it's possible to get a
surpluss of bread wheat and vedgitables.
For a start, I'd recommend one farmer per farm as a minimum, with extra
farmers if this isn't enough.

Hi all,
I miserably lost the game when everything was ok! Luckily, I saved it so
I can undo my error, but I need your help to work it out.
I built the ship, I have some 6 knights of 24 people, I have around 150
meet, 120 bread and some wine, and about 60 vegetables though I can't
remember everything exactly. The peasants bring the food into the tavern,
not onto the ship. I close the tavern, they bring the food onto the ship,
and start starving. I open the tavern to give them to eat, they eat all
the rest from the storehouse and start dieing one by one.
What's the problem? How to sale away?
