Hi, Yes, automatic transmission is recommended if you're just starting out, it means you don't have to worry about so many keys. I find that driving using the keyboard is easier than using a steering wheel, but the latter is certainly possible. I tested the game using a cheap Sweex steering wheel with force-feedback, and it worked reasonably well, it just is something to get used to. Also, there are a few settings in the Options menu that change when and how curves are announced, perhaps you get better results with different settings. We did set them up to suit the majority of people, but they're there for a reason.

I think instead of driving I should rename myself to crashing, because I sure did that a lot. I was hoping for some driving tips so I could limit my crashing. First of all, is it better to play ts3 with keyboard or steering wheel? If the latter, which kind should I get? I am also assuming automatic transmission is better for newbie driver/crashers like me? Tips appreciated, I don't think my stomach could take any more of the self murth that I was doing, it was helarious and I was the one doing the crashing, definitely lost a lot from the time when I could see and play the old atari pole position. Thanks. Dave. --- Gamers mailing list __ Gamers@audyssey.org If you want to leave the list, send E-mail to gamers-unsubscr...@audyssey.org.
