A bit late of a response, but I have to agree with you here. My
personal standpoint is as little text as possible, but make it
clear that there was a message change.

Well Quentin, that is true and might be a possible way around,
however most
people might find it irritating to have an audigoames.net link
automatically
chucked at the bottom of their posts.
in fact on the couple of Yahoo lists I'm on that do this I find
it slightly
irritating myself when I want to read say the original message I
replied to.
Also, in my experience, if something is "always" there, people
look at it
less. I think new members would probably just take it as an auto
advert and
ignore it. Also, it seems a bit silly for the majority of members
on the
list to keep having this message sinse obviously all the regulars
already
know! about audiogames.net.
Of course this is just my opinion on an attached text and link
and other
people might think differently.
Beware the grue!

I think you could do even more. You could also add an
audiogames.net link
at the end of each e-mail. Many mailing-lists automatically add
a
signature containing useful links at the end of each e-mail
going through.
