You can raise the volume of the zombie footsteps. This will
damage the clarity, but if done right really does help aiming.

I must again add my vote to some kind of aiming aid - as I did in
the past -
for those of us with hearing loss, or just can't aim as well in
some other
cases.
Granted I'm now getting to the point that I can hold my own quite
well, my
rating is still around 40% at best cause it usually takes me 4
shots to line
up the target properly- 40 shots if it's a darn dog lol.
