Hey Lindsay,

The mouse controls turning to aim left and right in Swamp. A one
finger swipe on your trackpad to either the left or right will do the
same thing as moving a physical mouse across whatever surface you're
resting it on. If you're a newbie to aiming with a mouse, I'd start
off by using the keyboard commands to snap to the nearest 45 degrees
and use your trackpad to aim from there. Eventually, some people get
to the point where they hardly touch the keyboard for actual
navigational purposes, but it's all subjective, you'll find the
balance that gets you around in the game over time.

Download swamp, fire up the custom map for practicing offline, and
spend a bit of time wandering around and aiming at zombies with the
trackpad. If you die on the custom maps, you don't lose anything that
you've worked for, so take as long as you need to explore and get the
hang of killing nasties. There's a knack to it, but you'll probably
pick it up pretty quickly if you use the keyboard commands to get you
facing roughly the right way and then the trackpad for the final
adjustment to make your shot.

The link to grab the latest version is here:

Depending on how many buttons your trackpad has and what they're like
to work with, you might want to do a little remapping in the
keyconfig.ini file, but we can cross that bridge when you come to it
if you get stuck.

Hth, let us know how you're getting on.
