Having a wireless mouse and keyboard, I find myself the best way of doing
things is to have the keyboard on my lap with my left hand on the keys, and
the mouse along the front of my desk with my right hand so that I've got the
full front of my desk to move it along and my right hand is very mobile.
I actually originally started firing with my left hand, sinse it felt more
natural as I'm used to playing mainstream games with a joystick in my left
hand and my right on the attack buttons, but I found I needed my left hand
in typing position to hit all the needed keys, so I swiched, and don't
regret doing it.
Weapons wise, I haven't found the silencer too useful thus far sinse it
takes so many shots to drop a zombi, by which time all of it's mates are
after you.
my favourite weapon thus far is the winchester rifle, I really get a kick
out of playing sniper from a distance, then sneaking off somewhere else. I'm
looking forward to finding a scope.
Btw, is there a way to actually enter the trucks and abandoned cars to use
them as firing points? I've noticed there is a big concentration of zombies
around the streets, and a place to hide would be helpful.
Beware the grue!

tips on using the mouse when firing, what i do is to have the mouse in
front of me and have both hands on the desk close together so i limit
the mouse movement between my 2 hands whilst centring the footsteps to
fire at them, i have noticed this is a good way of not accidently
hitting the fire button when running round the maps and especially
effective when in buildings. i have found that a silencer is a must
with this new version as you can take out a zombie without alerting
the others too much around the unfortunate critter you are focused on.

Actually Orin, it's not your hardware at all.
I heard zombi growls in the review of 1.9, but not in the current
version,
so i assumed they'd been removed or toned down. I've actually had to
completely mute other players' steps and just use the ping to tell where
other players are to give me best chance of hereing a zombi, but I just
assumed this was difficulty of the game.
I must admit growls would be nice, sinse right now I don't really know
which
sort of zombi it is until I shoot it, and even then I'm not absolutely
sure
on the different types and what they do.

Subject: [Audyssey] Swamp: Zombie Growls?
Hi all,
I believe when I played in 2.3, Zombies when coming toward you would
growl
as they came. Why has this been removed? I was in the gas station
parking
lot and heard them or at least one, so I centered the footsteps as best
as
I could and fired. I missed so it ran faster and i couldn't tel whether
it
was running away or toward me, plus other player footsteps were in the
background. I wonder if it's my headphones and e not being able to
center
things, my mouse cencitivity or maybe there's a delay with Vmware Fusion
though I doubt that because there are good Swamp players using virtual
machines.
BTW, Aprone, is there a way you could implement the NVDA API DLL so that
Swamp could support System access/SA or SA to GO?
Thanks.
