Thanks Dakotah, I actually figured out what happened. When your pistol breaks it does destroy your silencer, but the glock 17 had already been switched into silencer mode before that happened. The silencer is only checked when you try to switch between modes, so that's why it seemed like you still had the silencer for the Glock 17.
