Yes it can be beaten.
Just cast your spells on all the objects and it will work.
Note I forget but you need to cast greese on a chest to open it.
The only reason that its not a spoiler is that there is a bug.
I never figured it out.
I had to go to the game folder to figure it out by listening to the sounds.
1 set of sound files at the end never plays.
At any rate the games replay is gone once you beat it.
