that may have been, but as you look in the change of hosts, and changes in policies as well, they're willing to make small ones here and there, they're not going to out right say ok you won't be attacked if you don't want to, because its not conducive to the game's feel. all who play, also have to remember this, once that n tag is gone, you're not a newbie anymore. there are specifically thigns in place for those who have the n tag, so when you're refering to newbies, yes, there are thigns in place that protects them, but, once that n tag drops, which it does automatically after a long amount of time, its assumed, you've learned how to take care of yourself, and defend yourself. Miriani is for most designed with a roleplay environment in mind, you have to good side, and teh bad side, and the bad side doesn't have to just be "aliens" it can be people from your or the other alliences as well, and if you start restricting things like that in a roleplay environment, you take away from it, so you can say they need to do this, as much as you won't, but if its going to take away from the feel, from teh roleplay, the good verses bad element, they won't do it, its just that simple.
